Overview
Between approximately December to middle March each year the central to the southern Serengeti area gets rainfall. During this season the grass eventually turns to lush green. The herds of wildebeest, zebra, antelope and gazelle that roam the central Serengeti are pushed further south and west and lay to the open plain of Ndutu area. A segment of this population remains in the Seronera area year-round and another unrelated group pours into Tarangire National Park along with thousands of elephants. This safari visits the areas where available water attracts masses of herbivores and the predators who follow in their wake completing the cycle of life and death on the savannah

Today, we drive to the Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes; however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. We arrive in time for a hot lunch and then proceed on an afternoon game drive. The area is usually heavily populated with Great migration of the wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelles and lots of cats, here will be lots of action as the park allows the off road.
Dinner and overnight at Acacia Migration Camp
For the next two days we experience the Migration of the wildebeest, tracking their majestic voyage number laying in Ndutu plains. Around each corner there is a new sight to behold. We see it all, from the spectacular landscape to the multitude of cats following the same Great migration and the resting in the umbrella shade of the picturesque acacia trees. We will take you to the places “off the beaten track” so you have truly authentic experience in this vast savannah with its changing eco-system. As well as the migration of the wildebeest, we likely will find ourselves in the presence of Elephants, hyenas, antelopes and soaring eagles.

It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a soaring active volcano in the Rift Valley. Trails lead from the lake to the Engare Sero waterfalls, which flow over craggy rocks into a natural pool
